Illustrating single-word prompts / Part 2

For this project, I created stand-alone illustrations in response to a wide range of single-word prompts. The goal was to explore different approaches to interpreting the prompts while keeping the series cohesive in terms of visual language.

I divided the project into two parts based on two different mediums and approaches to colour that I wanted to explore. This part was made using digital techniques and a slightly different colour palette for each illustration.

The prompts for this part were:

• Riot
• Car
• Butterfly
• Cemetery
• Artist’s studio
